2020 Spring Dairy Expo Cancelled

Click here to request refunds or donations for Spring Dairy Expo 2020.

Statement as of March 12, 2020:

In accordance with orders from Ohio Governor Mike Dewine, Spring Dairy Expo, scheduled for March 26-28, has regretfully been cancelled. We value the safety and health of our exhibitors, families and the allied industry supporters and appreciate their continued support.

Governor Dewine and the Ohio Department of Health have issued an order prohibiting any mass gatherings (over 100 people) in the state as a preventative public health measure to address the spread of the Coronavirus (Covid-19). In addition, as you know, our event is held at the Ohio Expo Center, which is a state government location, so it is directly impacted by the order.

The SDE planning committee will be in touch with the sale managers of the multiple breed sales and will share any alternate arrangements they may make.

Please check www.springdairyexpo.com and our Spring Dairy Expo Facebook Page for the most up-to-date information available. We appreciate everyone’s support of our event.

Please check the Sale Schedule and Sale Catalog Pages for updated information about the sales that were scheduled to be at the 2020 Spring Dairy Expo.

The Spring Dairy Expo (SDE), as part of the Ohio Purebred Dairy Cattle Association, showcases great dairy cows, dedicated people and the incredible youth that make up Ohio’s dairy industry. The 2020 show will be March 26 – 28 at the Ohio Expo Center, Columbus, Ohio. It is one of the few times dairy producers of all breeds gather to showcase their herd’s genetics while enjoying each other’s fellowship, one of the reasons they enjoy the dairy business.

The 2020 SDE will highlight breed sales managed by the Buckeye Dairy Club of The Ohio State University and Jersey Marketing Service, as well as the Mid-West Review Brown Swiss Sale and The Best of Triple T & Heath Sale. Friday night’s youth showmanship contest, sponsored by the American Dairy Association Mideast, is expected to attract nearly 140 youth. A statewide youth judging contest will be held Saturday morning, and a Supreme Champion will be crowed as a finale to the event.
